Rob Mather

BA, BEd, MEd, CCC, LCT

Licensed Counselling Therapist

Rob is a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) along with being a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapist of New Brunswick (CCTNB). Rob completed his Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology (MEd.) from UNB in 2010 and his Bachelor of Education (BEd.) in 2006 and Bachelor of Arts. in Psychology (BA.) in 2004 also from UNB. 

Rob has worked in the school system for the last 15 years and is a certified school guidance counsellor and teacher. He has worked in helping roles at all levels within the public school system and at the post-secondary level too. 

Rob’s predominately works from a Cognitive Behavioural Approach (CBT) but also blends in components of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and concepts connected to positive psychology to meet the needs of the client.

Rob is available for individual counselling and works with youth 12-18 years of age.
