A person who is gifted would have an IQ (cognitive abilities) well above average in comparison to their peers. This type of assessment involves extensive review of background information, cognitive testing, client interview and written report with consolidated information along with appropriate treatment recommendations if applicable. A person must be in grade four and higher to be eligible to complete this type of assessment.
