$140 per session
Mackensie is a Licensed Counselling Therapist – Candidate with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick. She completed her education at St. Thomas University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts with honours in Human Rights. Mackensie then completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University.
Mackensie is able to work with all age groups, however, she has a passion for working with children between the ages of 4 and 16. Mackensie believes in drawing upon various counselling modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients. Some of these modalities may include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed therapy approaches and Person-centered counselling.
Mackensie is able to address a broad range of concerns including trauma, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, self-harm, grief, stress, emotional overwhelm, anger, self-worth, parenting and others.
Mackensie believes in fostering a therapeutic environment that is meaningful and allows for trust and connection between the therapist and client. She is available to see clients in person, via phone or virtual video sessions.
