Liz completed her Bachelor and Masters of Social Work at UNBC. She worked in a variety of settings in the Criminal Justice field, facilitating group programs and individual services to those involved in the criminal justice system. Her training and work experience include dysfunctional relationship dynamics, and sexual assault cases, wherein she has supported both those who are survivors of relationship violence and sexual assault, and those who wish to address dysfunctions in their relationships or sexual behaviors. Besides this, Liz supports those wishing to address a variety of struggles, including PTSD, trauma, and burnout. Liz employs predominantly Cognitive Behavioral interventions; her background in Social Work provides a solution-focused dimension to her counseling practice.
Liz is available to do individual and couples therapy with youth-senior populations. Liz offers in-office counselling sessions, but also offers Equine Assisted Mental Health services to those who may benefit.
