Jessica Scott is a member of the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick. She has earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Psychology from the University of Prince Edward Island, and Bachelor of Education from the University of New Brunswick. Jessica also holds a Master of Arts in School Psychology from Mount Saint Vincent University. She is primarily employed with the Anglophone School District – South through the Integrated Service Delivery (ISD)/Child and Youth team.
Jessica provides a client-centered, and evidence-based approach; her primary therapeutic approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and solution focused therapy (SFT). She has experience particularly in addressing mood and anxiety disorders, phobias, suicidal ideation and self-injury in children and adolescents. Jessica also has experience providing psychoeducational assessment and consultation on learning disabilities and ADHD for children and youth.
Jessica is available for individual counselling for children and adolescents. She offers sessions in person, by phone or video.
