James is a Registered Social Worker with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers (NBASW) and has experience working with at-risk youth, persons struggling with substance use issues, persons involved in the Canadian justice system, members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, neurodiverse folks, persons with disabilities, and members of Indigenous communities.
James brings a strengths-based, evidence-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approach to counselling that applies cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to create meaningful change.
James holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from St. Thomas University and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology & Indigenous Studies) from St. Thomas University.
In-person and telephone counselling sessions are available for individuals 12 years and older.
