Christine Brittain is a registered social worker with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Christine graduated in 1990 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dalhousie University; in 1992 with her Bachelor of Social work, and in 2002 with her Masters of Social Work, both from the Maritime School of Social Work- Dalhousie University. Her Masters specialization was in Child and Family Welfare and Family Violence, her focus is primarily with children and families.
Since 1993, Christine worked in Child Protection with the Department of Social Development as a frontline worker, a supervisor and ending her career as a Program Delivery Manager in 2023. Christine was the 2005 recipient of the Dr. David Stephen Foundation Award of Distinction, an award that recognizes an individual’s contribution to the elimination of Child Abuse.
Christine focuses on a collaborative, strength based, solution focused, and trauma informed practice. Christine can provide services to children, adults, couples, and families in person, through virtual platforms or by phone. Christine can also offer services at our Saint John satellite office Uptown
