Registered Social Worker

Stephanie holds a Master of Social Work from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a focus in Community Health Education. She has worked in diverse settings, including school-based mental health programs, a paediatric emergency department, and rural community mental health initiatives. Stephanie specializes in supporting children and adolescents navigating ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, and grief and loss. She also has a special interest in couples therapy and is currently pursuing training in the Gottman Method to strengthen her support for couples. 

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, strength-based, and grounded in evidence-informed modalities including cognitive based therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and emotion-focused therapy (EFT), while using an ecological systems therapy lens. She can also offer faith-based counselling and integrate Christian ideologies when appropriate. For younger clients, Stephanie uses play-based and art-based elements to encourage emotional expression and regulation. 

Stephanie is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their therapeutic journey.
