Bernadette has completed the coursework for the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program through Yorkville University and is grateful to be completing her counselling internship at KV Psychology. Her passion for helping others has been shaped through a variety of roles, including working as a Support Worker for children at the YMCA in Saint John and through her work advancing community mental health initiatives with NB Copes. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for creating safe, compassionate, and welcoming spaces for individuals navigating life’s challenges. Bernadette can work with clients ages 10 and up who are experiencing general mental health concerns. To support her clients, she will draw upon a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.
