Voice of THE Child
A Voice of the Child report is one way to give children a chance to be heard in family law proceedings. It’s a written report prepared by a Licensed Psychologist who interviews the child, and is typically ordered by a judge. These reports share information about a child’s views and preferences around custody, access, and visitation, giving the child space to communicate their thoughts and feelings.

The Report Process
If both parents are in agreement, a Voice of the Child report can be requested by the parents rather than being court-ordered.
