An ADHD assessment is a comprehensive evaluation used to determine whether a person meets the criteria for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). At KV Psychology & Wellness Clinic, ADHD assessments are available for children ages 6 and up and adults.
The assessment considers attention, organization, activity level, impulse control and other areas of functioning, while also looking at factors that may contribute to similar symptoms. The goal is to provide greater clarity and, when appropriate, recommendations for next steps and support. ADHD assessment is one of the psychological assessment services offered by KV Psychology & Wellness Clinic.
This assessment includes one-on-one testing, standardized rating scales, a review of background information, an interview with the parents of the child being assessed (or the adult pursuing testing), and a written report. Testing takes place over several sessions.
As part of the process, standardized rating scales are used to screen for social-emotional concerns particularly anxiety to help rule out any underlying issues that may be contributing to symptoms.
Effective June 1, 2026, the fee for this assessment is
for all ages.
