ADHD Assessment
An ADHD assessment is an evaluation meant to determine whether a person meets the criteria for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. During the intake appointment, we’ll determine whether a full psychoeducational assessment might be recommended given the presenting concerns.

What the assessment includes
This assessment includes one-on-one testing, standardized rating scales, a review of background information, an interview with the parents of the child being assessed (or the adult pursuing testing), and a written report. Testing takes place over several sessions.
As part of the process, standardized rating scales are used to screen for social-emotional concerns — particularly anxiety — to help rule out any underlying issues that may be contributing to symptoms.
