Education & Qualification
Lee is a Psychotherapist and Counsellor in Ontario (RP) and New Brunswick (LCT) with over a decade of experience in the mental health sector. She studied Counselling Psychology (M.Ed.) at University of Toronto and completed her clinical training at Women’s College Hospital in Family Practice. Lee is also a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the CCPA.
Lee’s approach is founded in establishing a nonjudgmental, supportive connection with counselling clients to open up possibilities for meaningful change. She holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and also incorporates other evidence-based techniques from ACT, Solution-Focused and Narrative therapies, and Motivational Interviewing.
Lee is a Career and Wellbeing Counsellor at New Brunswick Community College in Saint John. In private practice she focuses on short to medium-term adult therapy where goal-setting is central. Lee works with individuals 16 years and up who experience problems such as depression, grief, anxiety, insomnia, and relationship difficulties, and she helps clients improve skills and habits for more balanced thinking, improved stress management, and effective interpersonal communication.
