Kendra Higgs BA, MA, CCC, LCT-C
Licensed Counselling Therapist - C (CCTNB) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCPA)
Education & Qualification
Kendra is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Kendra is committed to creating a safe space for clients to discover and explore the patterns and dynamics that get in the way of moving toward desired change. Kendra has specific training to work with couples and families as well as individuals with a broad range of concerns, including: anxiety, anger, difficult life transitions, grief, loss, emotional overwhelm, stress, relational difficulties, self-worth and spirituality & faith. Kendra brings a passion for understanding her clients and a posture of curiosity to her work. Among other things, she integrates narrative therapy, emotion focused therapy, family systems theory and self-compassion in order to help clients understand the ways in which the difficulties that show up can start to tell a restrictive and unhelpful story about who they are. Kendra supports her clients to re-write that story and challenge the narratives that are no longer useful.
