Education & Qualifications:
Katie is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Sociology. From there, she continued her education by obtaining a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Katie is currently employed with the Anglophone South School District as a Guidance Counselor and uses CBT, positive psychology and strengths based practices to assist clients in their journey. Her aim in therapy is to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship that works to build client connectedness and meaning. Katie’s previous counseling experience includes working with individuals and groups of all ages, in the areas of anxiety, depression, self esteem and anger.
