Education & Qualification
Jennifer is a Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) as well as a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick (2000) and obtained a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University (2014). Jennifer is dedicated to helping her clients learn effective coping skills and strategies to help address the issues that lead them to seek counselling support. She provides counselling to adults, couples and families. She primarily uses the Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapeutic approaches but, she will draw upon a variety of approaches to help her clients address issues such as: anxiety, depression, stress, anger, PTSD, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship problems, separation/divorce and self-esteem. Jennifer offers virtual and in person sessions to older youth and adults.
