Meredith Henry

Licensed Counselling Therapist

Meredith is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She obtained her Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of New Brunswick in 2005. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University with a major in English and Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of New Brunswick specializing in literacy and guidance, and is a licensed teacher in New Brunswick.

Meredith has been working as a counselling therapist for 17 years, predominantly in the post-secondary education field with students ranging from 17-65+ years of age. She has specialized training in both individual mental health counselling as well as career counselling working with people addressing a variety of mental health concerns. Meredith is passionate about working with people to help them live rich, meaningful, fulfilling lives. She does this using a client-centred approach drawing on ACT, CBT, positive psychology, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Meredith is available for individual counselling for youth (ages 14 and up), and adults. She offers sessions in person, by phone or video.
