Meredith is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Licensed Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB), the President-Elect of CCTNB, and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She obtained her Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from the University of New Brunswick in 2005. She also holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of New Brunswick specializing in literacy and guidance, and is a licensed teacher as well as a licensed guidance counsellor in New Brunswick.

Meredith is passionate about working with people to help them live rich, meaningful, fulfilling lives. She does this using a client-centred approach drawing on ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), positive psychology, and other mindfulness-based approaches. Meredith’s easy-going style, humour, and authenticity puts her clients at ease, building a strong therapeutic relationship to do the hard work of therapy together.

Meredith has specialized training in career assessments and career counselling coupled with 16 years of experience helping students in a post-secondary environment and in the public high school system.  She loves to help people learn about career development and exploration; identify their own interests, skills, personality, values, and goals; and explore how these intersect with the world of work and education.

Meredith is available for individual counselling for youth (ages 14 and up) and adults. She offers sessions in person, by phone, or video.
