Katie Datta

Licensed Counselling Therapist

Katie is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Sociology. From there, she continued her education by obtaining a Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

Katie is also currently employed with the Anglophone School District – South as a Guidance Counselor. She uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and strengths based practices to assist clients in their journey. Her aim in therapy is to develop a collaborative therapeutic relationship that works to build client connectedness and meaning.

Katie offers individual therapy to both youth (15 years and up) & adults in person and by phone. She specializes in the following areas:
