Jennifer is a Licensed Counselling Therapist with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick (2000), and obtained a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University (2014).
Jennifer is dedicated to helping her clients learn effective coping skills and strategies to help address the issues that lead them to seek counselling support. She provides counselling to adults, couples, and families. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) therapeutic approaches but, she will draw upon a variety of approaches to help her clients address issues such as: anxiety, depression, stress, anger, PTSD, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship problems, separation/divorce, and self-esteem.
Jennifer is available for individual, couples, and family counselling for those ages 16 years and up. She offers sessions in person, by phone or video.
