Chelsea is a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Chelsea obtained her Bachelor of Arts – Counselling Track. From there, she continued her education by obtaining her Masters of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Chelsea offers virtual and in person counselling to youth, adults and older adults. She has a keen interest in working with teenagers, as well as seniors. Her expertise includes those who are facing a variety of life situations such as: depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, relational difficulties, self-worth, as well as healing from various types of abuse. Eclectic in her approach and to ensure she provides a tailored approach to all her clients, Chelsea pulls from a variety of methods including solution-focused therapy, client-centered therapy, cognitive therapy, and many more! Furthermore, to ensure a strong foundation is built between herself and her clients, Chelsea focuses on creating a meaningful and lasting connection with her clients – she believes this is the core of a strong therapeutic alliance.
Chelsea is fluently bilingual in both official languages and welcomes clients who may be seeking services in either of those languages.
Chelsea is available for individual counselling for those ages 15 years and up in person, and by phone or video.
