Brenda is a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Brenda obtained her Bachelor of Arts – Counselling Track in 2014, and went on to obtain her Masters of Counselling Psychology in 2017.
Brenda began her career working with those who were struggling with addictions, and through her five years of experience gained a new perspective on addiction as a whole. Brenda is interested in working with older teenagers, as well as adults who are having challenges with life situations such as depression, anxiety, grief & loss, life transitions, as well as healing from various types of abuse. Furthermore, she offers Christian counsel to those who are desiring it; but this is not a requirement and is only offered when a client requests it. Brenda focuses on a Cognitive Behavioural approach, but also utilizes a variety of other therapies – ensuring she chooses what best suits the client.
Brenda is available for individual counselling for those ages 16 years and up in person, and by phone or video.
